Flying a dream camera on my Steadicam. Movies like the Hobbit, Social Network (facebook story), Pirates of the Caribbean, etc were made with that! That is like SGD110K on me but it was one hellavu experience although it was pretty heavy! Great party, awesome DOP and crew, wonderful weather.. wow! Many thanks to MLC productions and Bert Lighting for giving me the chance! Can’t wait to see the final production ^^

It was our first time working with a Vietnamese groom and he turned out real fun to hang out with! The wedding entourage was pretty international and the games were hilarious. Dawn is really blissful to have finally found the person to spend the rest of her life with. This wedding also marks the end of 2011 for the Firewerkz team and it was a great (and extremely tiring) way to end it!

This was one super fun wedding to shoot. Being an “older” person, I appreciated the RETRO theme very much. From the cars to games to the fashion and all, it was a great reminder of yester years. The mini pre wed concept was something we churned out on the AD itself. They had planned a very cool entry into the ballroom so we decided to work it out this way. On 2nd thoughts, we could have used an 80s song to make it better!
Credits to Kwang for allowing us to use the very cool photos. Its been a long time since we did fusion. For those who are wondering where the 2 uber cool VW Campers come from, they were from Kombi Rocks. It appears that there are only 3 Campers left in Singapore they were made in the 60s. The front window is in 2 pieces instead of one. How cool is that??

They are a very young couple but the bond they share, is one of the deepest I have ever come across. Weiliang is a dashing young man with a soft spot for his lovely wife, Eileen. Eileen is the supportive kinda woman and they are truly a perfect match in all ways. We had great fun shooting our last Love Story of the year titled, MY WAY. Weiliang is really creative (they even made their own stop motion) and took great pains to work out the idea. Above is the SDE and I really love the last bits (which was churned out under a mad rush as usual outside the ballroom cuz I wanted the sword ceremony in there). Their vows are one of the two outstanding ones which I really dig this year.

Ben and Jasmine are school lovers that have gone a long way together. They first approached us in late 2010 and the video was completed back in Jan 11! This is a very sweet love story and nothing fanciful. From the short times we had together, I could feel their strong bonds. It was a real pleasure and I really believe, that Ben will keep his promise ^^
As a night scene lover I’m already digging this baby! Like ISO10,000 is pure bliss for weddings in dimly lit ballrooms. The other awesome thing is the built in ND filter, no need to struggle and also the great audio. If only the price was right but oh well… time to start saving…
